Expanded communication outputs include signal-to-interference-plus-noise (SINR) and received signal strength indicator (RSSI). Optional multi-stream throughput calculations provide approximations for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems. Other Upgrades The Communication Systems Toolbox supports LTE metrics, including reference signal received power (RSRP) and reference signal received quality (RSRQ), as well as user-defined throughput tables for extended capability and customization. Device-specific tables assist with analysis of proprietary equipment and developmental systems, such as LTE-A. Expanded bit error rate (BER) calculations support modulation coding schemes up to 1024 QAM.
